iPOV has assigned this instance of CoSolvent Community Server as an open demo site. You can sign on with full administrator permissions and explore all aspects of the site. When the countdown timer reaches zero, the entire site will be erased and pristine new site is launched from Amazon Web Services. If you have uploaded any media or content to this site, it will disappear after the site is refreshed. As a byproduct, this demo illustrates the power and flexibility of the Amazon Web Services virtualization environment. We can discard a server image and effortlessly replace it. Buy through Amazon Web Services
iPOV maintains a release schedule of fully integrated CCS server systems that are pre-packaged for deployment in Amazon's EC2 'elastic compute cloud'.
iPOV has created integrated system snapshots to help buyers deploy correctly integrated systems. CCS is not just one software application. It is actually a cooperating collection of web software, from different sources, written in several languages and operating as a cohesive unit. Since the various components are being developed by different teams according to different schedules, it is very easy to encounter situations where an upgrade to one part will break functionality in another. iPOV can prevent these conflicts by picking the most stable development versions and releasing them as totally integrated, self-contained Amazon Machine Instances (AMIs) that are ready-to-run when launched.
Production
|
The Production edition of CoSolvent Community Server is a fully integrated, server application that iPOV configures and maintains to exploit the extended support features of Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud. This provides greater reliability, stronger security and more options in the event of problems. The monthly fee also includes a bundle of iPOV services to ensure that the site is up-to-date and implements all iPOV new feature releases. iPOV continually monitors the site and offers direct email support to a designated administrator. iPOV typically performs the initial site setup and customization, then iPOV requires ongoing access to the Amazon account for monitoring, maintenance and technical support.
